Community Opposes KeckBen Glatstein News Associate Wednesday nights meeting of the Claremont Architectural Commission in Hahn, along with a student protest last Thursday have increased the debate over the use of the Bernard Field Station (BFS). Wednesday night more than 100 concerned students and citizens of Claremont gathered in the Hahn Building for the meeting of Claremonts Architectural Commission. During this meeting the use of the draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was discussed. Before public comment was heard three representatives of the Claremont University Center (CUC) made the case for the development of the field station. [con't]

OBSA Dean Leaves QuestionsLiz Fasse Staff Writer On April 16, Benita Ramsey resigned from her position as Dean of Students for the Office of Black Student Affairs, bringing to a close a six year tenure with the association. Ms. Ramsey, who officially resigned for health reasons, was replaced by Interim Dean Leeshawn Moore. Ms. Moore will serve as interim dean until June 30, after which time a new Dean will be selected to serve for the 1999-2000 school year. [con't]
