Fraternity Is Offended
By Justin K. Davis
My name is Justin Davis, and I am the President and Co-Founder
of Tau Sigma Lambda at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville,
AL. We are a professional student organization with the intentions
of becoming a social fraternity. Our organization is based
on the values of truth, service, and leadership.
Our former president, Trevor Myers, happened upon a link
in a search engine that we found highly offensive. See for
yourself if you are uncertain as to the subject of this email.

I am sure that this article was meant as a joke, but I wish
to inform you that I find it incredibly offensive, and I am
sure all of my brothers would agree with me. We take pride
in the letters that we wear because we stand for everything
that a true fraternity should stand for. "Fraternity"
by definition is a group of men bound together by common goals
and interests. We are every bit of that. Your article may
be a joke to you, but you have struck a nerve with myself
and several of our brothers.
People have used search engines to find our website. They
find out about us as a group through our website. Now they
will also find your article when they try to find our website.
This hurts our methods of recruitment.
