Fire Claims Nu Alpha Phi's Cabin

On Tuesday, October 1, LA County and Forest Service firefighters finished mopping up the Williams Fire. The seventy odd homes in Baldy Village escaped the blaze; the Nappy cabin and other cabins in the San Dimas Canyon area were burnt to their foundations.


Earth Dome Controversy Continues

The earth dome constructed in the Organic Farm last year was demolished this fall after builders violated the wishes of Pomona and the Claremont City Council in completing construction without proper permits.
