Potential Military Draft Would Shatter Life on College Campuses

By David Dilworth
Staff Writer

rom the displays of unity, patriotism has grown dramatically. Speeches by George W. Bush prepare everyone for the idea of war, and, at times, this proposal faces a disconcerting amount of positive reception. Pomona Defeats UC Not-Pomona 15,007-454

By Jacqueline Wong-Hernandez
Opinions Editor

I hear constant gripes about Pomona. There are complaints about food, the social scene, racial cliques, snobbery; the list goes on for miles. Staff Writer

By Justin duRivage
Opinions Associate

Maple Grove Senior High School’s population was 1800. The other thing I hated about high school were the cliques— the groups that fettered you to one set of friends and kept you there. I didn’t like it, I didn’t like my fellow students’ ignorance, and I left for a better place: college.

By Robin Starr

Many times in the past few weeks, I have heard someone come back from dinner and exclaim, "Frary has such better food than Frank," or "Scripps has the best food." In my experience at Pomona, the dining halls have virtually the same food.
