When Epi-curiouser woke up this morning, Epi-curiouser thought, "What a great day for a meal." So when it was time for a meal, we decided to go have one. We were listening to the car radio (even Epi-curiouser enjoys be-bop! Craaazy!) when we heard a commercial for Denny’s Restaurant. As a result, we decided to drive the car that we were in to the Denny’s Restaurant on Foothill Boulevard in Upland. It was full of students, so we knew that it was the perfect place for the students at the college of Pomona College to eat at with each other. Epi-curiouser knows a lot about stuuu-dents.

Denny’s serves breakfast, lunch, lunch, lunch, brunch, breakfast, and dinner, and it is open 24 hrs. The Moon Over My Hammy was reasonably priced at $5.95, and it included ham, moons, clovers, purple hearts, real diamonds, a German serviceman’s revolver that I bought at a pawn shop, Ham, Shem, and Jepheth from the book of Genesis, and moon, and over, and my. Perfect for a hungry Sage-Hun! Our party decided to order the Breakfast Burrito ($4.99), the Cheese Fries ($3.49), the Coconut Cream Pie ($8.99), and the duck l’orange. The waitress claimed that Denny’s did not serve duck l’orange, but I told her, "Bippity-bop-bop de-bop de-orangey orangey spee! Toodly toodly boodly boo. Heidy-hi, heidly-hi! Heidy-heidy-heidy ho! Deedly dim, doodly dee! BIP BIP BIP BIP, give it to me! Boopity duckity-duckity ho! Duckity-bo, duckity-bo! Deedly deedly deedly me!! Bippity dippity zoom-a-loom boom, shooby-dooby-dooby skiddly, epi-cuckoo skoodly-doo. Denny’s!" Then she remembered that they had some in the back.

The food was served quickly, and it came with several kinds of syrup. Our guests declared the Breakfast Burrito "a little dry for (our) taste(s)," and we probably could have purchased a better one at an authentic Mexican eatery, or in Mexico. Olé! The Cheese Fries were adequate, but the duck l’orange was not orange enough, consisting as it did of two pancakes with a piece of bacon and the receipt. To drink we had coffee and a 1998 chianti from a Thermos. The Coconut Cream Pie was sat upon by me. Denny’s Restaurant gets one chef’s hat for food and one-and-a-half chef’s hats for skiddly-skiddly-skiddly.
