By Mike Chin

The Pomona-Pitzer men’s volleyball team is somewhat of a conundrum. Sometimes the Hen’s bring it all with super-exciting smashes, laid-out digs, and some superfly dancing. Oh, do we dance. Other times the team talks mad game, but walks bad game. Sparked with two victories against CMS and one against San Diego based Point Loma, the Hens look to continue their passionate playing and dancing into the last two weeks of the season.

March Madness Leading To Fantastic Conclusion
By Conor Gallogly

One thing is certain. This year’s Final Four is as evenly matched as any Final Four in recent memory. Michigan State is the defending champion, Duke finished the regular season #1, Arizona was the Associated Press preseason #1, and Maryland smoked a Stanford team that only had two previous one-point losses. These teams are all really good basketball teams, and only Maryland needed a little luck to advance this far. This writer, on the other hand, is really bad and a little unlucky at predicting March Madness basketball games.

First stop, scenic Stockton, CA, for a game against the legendary Tigers of the University of the Pacific. Claremont jumped out to an early lead and held firm throughout, edging out the Tigers 16-11. "It was fucking awesome!" said defensive powerhouse and enforcer Ryan Meckel-Parker ’02.
