Baseball Improves Record to 8-2; SCIAC Record Flawless at 5-0

"Winning isn't everything," they say. "At least we tried hard. We'll get 'em next time."

Of course, the other side usually says nice things too, like, "They showed promise. They showed spirit. The Clippers gave us a good run." We've seen it time and time again.

Sagehen Water Polo Reigns Over Cal State

Women’s water polo took to the pool last weekend for the first three games of the season. The season opener was 10am Saturday morning. Even at this early hour, the bleachers of fair Haldeman pool were packed to the breaking point. Pom-pom-waving fans cheered and anxious parents bit their lips. Even members of Pomona-Pitzer’s other aquatics programs came to show the love. The stage was set, and the P-P team proved itself up to the challenge.

Ultimate Frisbee’s Largest Team Ever Masters the Discus

The Claremont Colleges Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team traveled to Northern California for the Stanford Invite March 4-5. With 17 women, the team is the largest it’s ever been. Mixed with experienced, intermediate and first-time tournament players, the team played exceptionally well against a tough line-up of competitors.

Sagehen Basketball Will Miss Three Super Seniors

"These are three of the most special people, you don’t replace them," replied Coach Kathy Connell. The importance of seniors Soujourner Howe PI, Meghan Gould, and Maya Jones to Sagehen basketball cannot be overstated. Their leadership qualities, offensive and defensive skills, and friendship will be sorely missed.
