Tuesday, Claremont held elections for two seats on the City Council. Llewellyn Miller won one of the seats; Measure A, an anti-conflict-of-interest law sponsored by the Oaks project, also passed.

Students Hold Rally to Take Back the Night

Last Sunday marked Take Back the Night, a national initiative designed as a way of fighting back against the violence and sexual assault that make many places unsafe at night.

For the second time last Tuesday, the ASPC Senate did not approve a proposal to distribute a survey to students regarding the development of a five-college (5-C) Judicial Board for sexual assault/harassment.

DDP Requirement is Considered

The Curriculum Committee is currently considering a proposal for a "Dynamics of Difference and Power" (DDP) requirement, which would address the dynamics of power between racial and gender groups within US society.

Curriculum Committee Indefinitely Tables Earlier P/NC Deadline

The Curriculum Committee decided Monday to indefinitely table a proposal to move up the P/NC deadline. The proposal, which the committee considered earlier this semester, would change the P/NC deadline to coincide with the add deadline.
