Maybe I’ll Stay. Kiss My Butt.

Oh come now. MTV Spring Break Pomona College? No. No way. The college’s decision to charge students who stay on campus during spring break is unfair. This is not a vacation hideaway. Many seniors are planning to stay on campus for at least part of the break in order to work on their senior theses.

Pomona Should Be UC Pomona

Attending a small liberal arts college proscribes a very distinct college experience and equally distinct college memories. I enjoy the experience and I will enjoy the memories. But sometimes I wonder: what would different experiences and memories be like? Prague’s Got Nothing on Pomona

Prague will soon be making ample apologies for the winter I’ve been through: (they say the city is a "magic" contradiction: beauty/pain, shitty weather/beautiful weather) soon in the spring. Mufti Fans Request Membership

Since our first months at Pomona, we have been staunch admirers of your work. Many a night we have kept vigil for a hint of your nocturnal activities, but alas, we have yet to witness your elite team in action. We understand that the only way to join Mufti is to catch you on the pasting prowl, but since this is our last semester at Pomona, we implore you to admit us into your illustrious group.

Friedersdorf Hides Behind Popularity

As I read the last issue, I realised that Conor Friedersdorf’s opinions article served as practical proof of Bethany Kibler’s piece on popularity at Pomona. I think Friedersdorf’s first two lines demonstrate exactly what Kibler was explaining; to be popular at Pomona means to represent the popular campus view or politics.
