A Giga Theft.

A custom PowerMac was reported stolen from the Metate office in Clark V. It is valued at almost $2,000.

A call came into Campus Security reporting that a Physical Plant car had backed into a black Mercedes-Benz. A few minutes later, Physical Plant staff called to say that they had rear-ended a car.

A Fuji mountain bike was reported stolen from the bike rack outside of Crookshank Hall. The owner U-locked the front wheel to the bike rack and came back to find only a front wheel remaining.

A staff member reported that he lost the keys to Rains Athletic Center and Haldeman Pool.

A bike was reported stolen from in front of Rembrandt Hall. A student reported that he locked his bike to a stairwell, and the bike was gone when he returned from class. Someone in the Art Department said that maintenance cut the wire of the lock and was holding the bike for safekeeping.

A parent visiting from Carmel called from the Coop Fountain to report that she was locked out of her car in the Rains parking lot. The Claremont Police Department was called, but the woman called back and said she found her keys on the ground near the car.

An RA reported that the alarm was ringing on a blue Mazda parked in the Lawry parking lot. The investigating officer reported that a Pomona student was seen going into the car and pressing the car horn to set off the alarm. Security officers locked the car and stopped the alarm.

Associated Dean of Students David Swenson called security to report that the 5-college Eco-club would be holding an event on the South lawn of the Smith Campus Center on February 27. There was be a giant inflatable Coke bottle present.

A student reported a stolen car radio. The student stated that he parked his car in the Lawry parking lot at 10:00 pm on February 22. He found his front passenger window smashed and his radio stolen on the morning of February 24.

A student falls off a bike while riding in the rain in front of Bridges Auditorium. He was drunk and riding without a helmet, and was transported to the hospital after losing a lot of blood.
