President Bill Clinton arrived yesterday in Hanoi, Vietnam-the first president to visit the country since Richard Nixon's visit in 1969. His wife Hillary and daughter Chelsea are accompanying him in this important visit. Clinton says, "Vietnam is a country, not a war," and has traveled there with the hope of normalizing relations between the two countries.

It sure has been dark here these past few evenings. Once again, Pomona College tries to beat The Man, and once again, Pomona loses. Did we not learn from Aramark last year? Sure, we "beat" Cal Ed for many years, saving millions of dollars on this deal.

Whores Distateful, Inappropriate
In his article about the football game, Duke Gray said "The teams then proceeded to pass the ball back and forth like it was a cheap whore." Although the phrase may have been effective, I think it was distasteful and inappropriate.
