I do not mean to nitpick at the metaphors that your writers choose to use in their articles, but beacuse I respect your newspaper and I enjoy reading it, I want to comment on something that one of your sports writers wrote in the November 10 edition of The Student Life. In his article about the football game, Duke Gray said "The teams then proceeded to pass the ball back and forth like it was a cheap whore." Although the phrase may have been effective, I think it was distasteful and inappropriate.
