Back in high school, I was a mediocre debater, as strange at that sounds. Nonetheless, I managed to learn a thing or three about what a quality opinion entails. At its heart there lies a value. Every round, after a few introductory comments, the debator bluntly stated, "My value for this debate is _________." Which is OK, because without some ideal at its core, the only justification for an opinion is "Just Because."

McCain Campaign Rife with Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy is just one of those things you come to expect from American politics today. There seems to be a growing interest in Native American affairs around campus lately and it got me thinking. As far as hypocrisy, I cant think of a better example that illustrates the total disregard the US government has had for law, treaties, and human rights over the years.
